On the 21st of this month, a delegation led by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism visited the E · ONE Park for visits and exchanges. The visitors included Zhu Mao, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Culture and Tourism, Zhou Xinglian, Deputy Director of the Industrial Development Department, and representatives of the Education and Culture Department of the Chongqing Municipal Finance Bureau and related enterprises. This inspection aims to learn advanced concepts and work experience in the development of the esports industry from the Shanghai Electronic Sports Association, and explore the development routes of various urban industries.

At the meeting, the Deputy Secretary General of the Shanghai Electronic Sports Association introduced the development trajectory of the Shanghai esports industry and the growth process of the Shanghai esports Association. Since the 'Several Opinions on Accelerating the Innovative Development of the Cultural and Creative Industries in Shanghai' issued in 2017, it has been proposed to build a 'global esports capital', which has entered the peak period of esports industry development. Six districts in Shanghai, including Pudong, have successively implemented major esports events, venue construction and other related projects, and obtained government support.

Founded in May 2007, Shanghai E-sports Association has more than 140 member units, including many leading manufacturers such as Tencent, NetEase Blizzard, NetEase Games, Perfect World, Dawn Lightyear (ByteDance), SUPERCELL, Mutong Technology, as well as many leading E-sports clubs, event execution and direct broadcasting institutions, including EDG, TES, LNG, VG, BLG, etc. With the rapid development of the industry, high-quality enterprises from industries such as finance, technology, consulting, communication, legal services, exhibitions, and industrial parks are also constantly joining.

The association has truly achieved the cohesion of industrial ecological forces and integrated multiple cross-border cooperation.

At the meeting, both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on the development situation and market difficulties of the esports industry in different cities, and obtained rich opinions and suggestions, providing valuable experience for their respective development.
